Secret 1, Don’t make it all about you.

Coaching is about the person you are sitting in front of, helping them achieve their goals and dreams in the fastest possible way.

If you’re sitting their worried about your own life and what you’re not achieving or feeling inferior it will disconnect you from being present and being able to utilize all of the little signals that will help you create change.

If you experience an objection and you make it about yourself and have an internal conversation like “this always happens to me”, “I am not good enough”, “Iam never going to be successful” your motivation will drop and if this continues, it will result in a coach not asking for the sale, avoiding the phone or in some cases giving up.

Remember this business is about your client’s achievement, so put your focus where it belongs.  To achieve any success all that I have to do is help others become successful and I automatically achieve success.

I believe that you need to be working on your life and improving it, however often I find that if your life is in challenge and you overcome it through working with your own coach it adds to your certainty and belief in the coaching process.

This by the way is great marketing because the people around you often ask “what have you been doing to create such amazing changes in your life so quickly?”

Secret 2, Life coaching alone gets good results however when integrated with NLP and other emotional release techniques it gets astounding results.

A lot of people in NLP would sometimes look at NLP as the only way and nothing else works as effective. Life coaches would sometimes look at NLP as manipulative, quick fix or that it doesn’t work long term.

Instead of using Life Coaching and NLP separately I decided to integrate life coaching and NLP into the one system, the results were astounding and both seemed to solve the others problems.

I believe Life coaching is the key, it is the structure and the use of NLP and other emotional release techniques should be utilized as part of a toolkit to get our clients back on track and taking action as fast as possible.

So I developed the Advanced NLP Life Coaching system, which is a Cert iv equivalent coaching program Integrated with practitioner level clearing modalities, Practitioner Level in NLP, TimeLine Therapy and a Qualification as a Hypnotherapist at an international level.

The results to this day continue to blow me away, we use the Life Coaching system to manage the goal, plan the milestones and action steps between each session added with different educational components to increase awareness and choice.

Then using NLP techniques to align our client’s mindset to their goals and reproducing excellent behaviour on a consistent basis. We use Timeline therapy to release negative emotions from the past and Hypnotherapy to create new behaviours, let go of addictions and improve health.

Secret 3, To be a great Life Coach you must be getting Life Coaching yourself.

To be a great Life Coach you have to believe in your service, if through your own experience of Life Coaching you achieve your goals and have a major breakthrough in your life the way you will promote coaching will be with congruency and passion.

Another reason is to accelerate your learning, if you’re receiving Life Coaching from a Master Life Coach you will install all of the learning’s and pick up on new things.

Most importantly you will improve your results which will obviously have a positive effect on the clients that you’re working with.

In my system I believe to be a coach you must be coached and you must be coached by someone that is a Master Advanced NLP Life Coach. This is why with my coaching trainings you receive one on one Adv NLP Life Coaching as part of the training, your coach works with you for roughly a 6 month period to help you personally get some major breakthroughs in your life and help and support you build your Adv NLP Life Coaching business.

Secret 4, Sales and Marketing is the most important activity.

I believe that sales and marketing is the most important thing that you have to learn to be successful as a life coach. I believe that you learn the most about Life Coaching from actually working with your clients and helping them experience amazing breakthroughs.

With the right sales and marketing you will always be working with a lot of clients which will obviously enhance your ability as a coach.
